Cookie Policy

Effective date: 9 October 2026

A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on the next visit, which is how a site recognises a returning browser. Related technologies do the same job by other means: browser storage areas that hold data under a site's name, tiny images loaded to record that a page was opened, and scripts that read characteristics of your browser in order to tell it apart from others.

This page lists each of those technologies and says, for each, whether purescale.online uses it.

What we checked

Cookies set by this site
Not used. The server sets no cookie of any kind, for any purpose, including preferences and session identifiers.
Cookies set by others through this site
Not used. No third party has any code on these pages, so no third party is in a position to set a cookie here.
localStorage
Not used. Nothing is written to it, including the state of the checklists.
sessionStorage
Not used. Nothing is written to it.
IndexedDB
Not used. No database is created in your browser.
Tracking pixels
Not used. There is no advertising pixel, conversion tag, beacon or invisible image on any page.
Browser fingerprinting
Not used. Nothing on this site reads your fonts, canvas, screen characteristics or hardware in order to recognise your browser.
Web fonts and third-party scripts
Not used. The pages use the fonts already installed on your device and load only one stylesheet and one script, both served from purescale.online. Your browser makes no request to any other server while reading this site.
Server access logs
Used. Our hosting provider keeps an ordinary web server log of each request: IP address, date and time, URL requested, referring page if your browser sends one, and user-agent string. These are kept for 30 days.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent banners exist so that you can agree to, or refuse, cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary. There are none here. Showing a banner asking permission for something that does not happen would misrepresent what this site does, so there is no banner.

What does happen instead

Your browser asks our server for a page; the server sends it and records the request in its log. That is the whole of it. The log is described in the list above and in the Privacy Policy, which also explains what the log is used for and who holds it. Nothing else about your visit is recorded anywhere.

The checklists do not remember ticks

The boxes beside the checklist items on this site are printed shapes drawn with CSS. They are not controls, they cannot be ticked in the browser, and no state is stored for them in localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or anywhere else. Reload a checklist page and it looks exactly as it did the first time. If you want to record your progress, the all-checklists page prints cleanly and a pen works well.

After you follow an affiliate link

Some links here are paid affiliate links to a vendor's own website. Once you follow one, you are on somebody else's site, and the vendor of World of Tanks and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record that the referral came from us. Multi.kuk.shop s.r.o. does not control those cookies, cannot read them and cannot switch them off. Their own cookie and privacy notices describe them, and they are the documents to check.

Blocking or clearing cookies generally

Every mainstream browser lets you manage this yourself, usually under a settings section called privacy, security or site data. From there you can clear cookies and site data already stored, block all cookies or only third-party ones, and set a rule that clears everything when the browser closes. Browsers also offer a private or incognito window that discards cookies and storage at the end of the session. None of this will change anything about your use of purescale.online, because there is nothing here to block, but it applies usefully to the rest of the web.

If this ever changes

If cookies or similar technologies are ever introduced on this site, this page will be rewritten to describe each one and what it does, the effective date will change, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before any non-essential cookie is set. We will not add tracking quietly and update the wording afterwards.
